The scanned daylight series came about only after a visual investigation into which images would best represent haptic textiles. In this project, I try to achieve the tactility, which is the main characteristic of textiles, not only in the material but especially in the image itself. This is how I discovered scanning in pure light and obtaining "folds" by playing with the lid. This resulted in black and white images which I dissected in Photoshop into printed colorful images. By printing these formed images on an analog medium, I can further distort the images based on color and movement, as it were a collage of scans. These images are then also scanned and edited in Photoshop. This creates a continuous process of light, reflection, perception, distortion, projection, etc.
